I have been a personal training client of Greg’s for 4 years now and can genuinely say that I have enjoyed (either at the time, or in hindsight when seeing the results) every session. I have the highest regard for Greg as a trainer and as a person.
He is knowledgable about all of the aspects of training technique, physiology and nutrition that are required of a good trainer and pairs this with a natural understanding of when to push you to do more and when it is better to take things easy that day, but still yield the desired results.
Given his experience training those often juggling demanding desk jobs with family commitments, he appreciates that time for exercise/looking after yourself can be scarce and he tailors things accordingly (ie with helpful, but realistic, advice on additional training that can be done outside of PT sessions). On top of this he is an excellent sounding board for anything one has on one’s mind, whether exercise related or not.
I wish you all the very best for your imminent move to Australia, but will certainly miss both the training sessions and the backyard philosophising that we so often engaged in at the same time.
Ask not for whom the kettle bells toll, they toll for thee…
